Sometimes, life can be unpredictable. We find ourselves on a journey that is not of our choosing. A journey, where we face mountains too high to climb and treacherous terrain that’s impossible to cross. And then, one day, we come to the realization, “this journey cannot be walked alone.” Our hearts open up. We surrender, but we don’t give up. We place our struggle into His hands.
This inspirational real life story chronicles the journey taken by the author from breast cancer diagnosis to breast cancer survivor. It did not take Deborah long to realize that she could not make this journey without help. Help which came from God. He extended grace to her as she faced the most painful experience in her lifetime. By utilizing the survival tips He shared with her, she was able to move from pain to victory.
Regardless of what journey you may be on, the Survival Tips found in this book will enable you to carry on. For you will find that God will provide, “Grace for the Journey.”
Nothing happens in life unless God allows. Grace For The Journey is a reminder that whatever we face, He has given us the grace necessary to prevail.
I write at night when everyone else is sleeping.
I write to share experiences that I believe will help others that are experiencing the same or similar life challenges.
Right now I am working on two books. The first one is called Thirty Days of Grace and the second one is The Empty Place.
So far I have written from personal experiences because that is what I have been led to write. The Empty Place will incorporate stories from others as well when complete.
I have grown tremendously.
Releasing it into the hands of publishers to read.
Receiving 3 yes from publishing companies. And, the first book signing of course.
Just do it and not procrastinate or wrestle with fear of the unknowns.
Having the first book published has increased my confidence which makes it easier to write.
I normally write....on paper to start. Then move to the computer once my thoughts begin to flow.
I communicate with my readers on FACEBOOK mostly.
Yes, I have an editor. I trust them and appreciate the input. Therefore, I consider every suggestion.
My publisher is a nontraditional publisher. It would be considered indie.
Never thought about that.
Work hard and always do your best.
