He snaps out of it as he smells the strong odor of gunpowder and his ears are ringing from the gunshot… Paul talks about that horrific day in great detail. He tells his story of the events leading up to this day and the days that follow. Paul talks about the five years he served in juvenile facilities, his struggle with self-mutilation, alcohol and drug abuse, and the internal torment. He takes us through the emotional and mental struggle that took place over a number of years. Paul’s life took a downward spiral that would prove to destroy him and possibly cost him his very soul. That’s just the first half of Paul’s story as his life was drastically changed when he came into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. He talks about the struggle for forgiveness that lasted for a quarter of a century and how God is healing his heart. Join Paul as he shares in great detail, his life story and the transformation that took place as he found forgiveness through his Savior’s love. Tetelestai (It is finished!)
This is my life story about horrible tragedy, drug and alcohol abuse, self-mutilating, and suicidal. I share how through it all, when Jesus came into my life, He turned it all around.
To share hope with people who feel life circumstances have become too unbearable. To share my personal story of my relationship with God has completely turned my life around.
I'm in the very beginning stages of writing about who we are. What is our identity in Jesus?
To share life change brought through Jesus.
I did quite a bit of research so that I could verify that my dates, situations, people, and places were correct.
Going into so much detail and the memories coming back from such a horrible time in my life.
The rewarding part is when people message me and share with me how God used this book to impact their lives.
Mostly a planner, but once I start writing, as things come to mind, I just go with it.
Quite a bit when they message me.
In this particular topic, they do not influence my writing.
I do. I think that it's impossible for anyone to know everything and as long as you approach the group willing to learn, and teach, it can be very beneficial.
Yes, I do. On this book, she had a lot of input. At the same time, I had the freedom to disagree if I didn't like a change or suggestion. She was incredible to work with and I highly recommend an editor.
No, not a particular person. My whole life and the people that I've known as a whole has influenced my writing.
I think they're great as long as they flow well together.
Honestly, I would tell myself to quit the drugs and alcohol and go to school for music...become a very well rounded musician.
My favorite book is the Bible. Aside from that, I'd have to say the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings books and movies.
I don't have plans for a trailer. I think it's a great way to advertise.
I am working on a book that focuses on our identities. To talk about who the Bible says we are vs who the world says we are.
I walk away and take a breather.
The only thing I would say is to stay diligent and focus on your work. Set a specific time every day or every other day (however often you intend to write) that you will sit down and write. Turn the cell phone off along with the tv. Anything that can be a possible distraction should be removed during your writing time.
